Since 2015, Darden Restaurants has trusted Step ‘n Wash to make their restrooms more accessible for families and people with certain disabilities. To Darden, Step ‘n Wash isn’t just a bathroom step stool – it’s a commitment to their core values of Being of Service and Inclusion.
The Logistics
Darden has gradually rolled out Step ‘n Wash to Olive Garden locations during pre-planned restaurant remodels. Given the outpouring of positive feedback received from customers, Darden has begun rolling Step ‘n Wash out to Longhorn Steakhouse and Yard House locations, too.
The Outcomes
Customer Response: As a company, Step ‘n Wash hears from more Olive Garden customers than any other. As Joe L. pointed out, taking little ones to the bathroom during dinner is often an inevitability. Darden has taken the positive feedback to heart and is currently rolling Step ‘n Wash out to more of their brands.
